Creche Terms & Conditions

STOKE COLLECTIVE operates unlicensed creche facilities, which in order to provide safe and affordable child minding services for all members, are exempt from the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2012. The creche is excluded from the meaning of Child Care and is not subjected to the Children and Community Services Act 2004.
For creches to be excluded from licensing requirements, parents must remain on the premises, nearby and able to attend to their children’s immediate physical needs, such as comforting, feeding or nappy changes if required/requested by the STOKE COLLECTIVE staff.

All children must have their own booking in our booking system. This is to maintain staff/child ratios. Failure to book children into creche may result in missing out on a spot.

  • SICK CHILDREN ARE NOT PERMITTED IN CRECHE - This puts our staff and service at risk.

  • BABIES MUST BE OLDER THAN 12 WEEKS to use the crèche service.

  • Older children who can sit unaccompanied do not require a creche booking, but must be seated in reception.

  • For liability reasons, and for the comfort of all members, children are NOT permitted to sit in the reformer studio or functional room.

  • All children are to be accompanied by their parents/carers into the crèche. Parents/carers must not leave the premises whilst children remain in the crèche.

  • Please accompany toddlers to the toilet prior to entering the crèche as our staff aren’t able to do this, this will help avoid disruption to your workout.

  • Only water bottles are permitted in the creche. NO FOOD.

  • Also, should your children have any allergies or require medication, this must be on your person while at the gym

  • Parents/carers must keep their phone on their person while training and have children in the creche. Parents or carers will be called if:

    • Babies are crying excessively

    • If misbehaviour cannot be managed.
